Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information ("we") collects through the Batch Pkg Manager app and this website. In short: very little.
The app
- No analytics or tracking. The app contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services, and does not send us information about the files you open, the software you install or uninstall, or your Mac.
- License activation. When you activate, validate or deactivate a license, the app sends your license key and your Mac's name (used as the activation's label) to Lemon Squeezy's license service. The response is used only to confirm your license. Validation happens quietly when the app launches.
- Stored on your Mac only. Your license details and any archive passwords you choose to remember are stored in your Mac's Keychain. They are never sent to us.
- Your files stay local. Installers, archives and disk images are processed entirely on your Mac. Temporary files are deleted automatically.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects the information needed to process your payment, calculate tax and deliver your license key (such as your name, email address, billing country and payment details) under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can provide support and manage licenses. We do not receive your full payment card details.
This website
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages and uses no cookies or analytics of our own. GitHub may log technical information such as IP addresses for security purposes, as described in GitHub's privacy statement.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you.
